Skiing in NisekoIf you are looking for a place to ski and want this to be outside of Spain, today we speak of a place known as a paradise for skiers: Niseko. Up to 15 m. (49 feet) of powder snow fall in the area every year. The ski resort is located in front of the dormant volcano Mount Yotei, (also known as Ezo Fuji for its resemblance to Mount Fuji). Niseko safely be compared with European and American big resorts known the world over.

Niseko United, known as the area is actually combines three ski areas completely separate but interrelated: Grand Hirafu, Higashiyama and Annupuri Kokusai. In recent years it has become the perfect getaway for skiers of Australia and New Zealand. Many discoverers of the new area, are dedicating themselves to buy and develop land to begin construction of hotels and resorts that accommodate the increasing number of tourists.

Has recently experienced a rapid increase of visitors from Hong Kong and Singapore. Niseko is the Japanese northern main island of Hokkaido, about 100 kilometers (62 miles) west of the capital, Sapporo.
